How to Get the 'Genius' Achievement in Batman: Arkham City

Here's yet another one of those pesky multi-step time sink achievements, but the reward is great. To get the 'Genius' achievement in Batman: Arkham City, you have to rescue all five hostages The Riddler has taken. It should be noted though that you'll need a certain amount of Riddler trophies to activate the hostage rescue missions.

Below are guides for rescuing all five hostages, along with an achievement summary and Riddler trophy requirement. What, you think the guys and gals at Rocksteady wouldn't reward you for all of this hard work? We're talking a total of 190G on Xbox 360, or four bronze and two silver trophies on PlayStation 3.
